hey pplz
is a mon light ment to be blue or can it be green
i have about 20-30 high output LED's and wanna chuck em above my fish tank for an effect :D

what do you guys think ?

A blue light is dim enough for nocternal fish, yet bright enough for you to see, I don't think green gives the same effect, but I don't see any problems with trying.

Yep, thats green one really didn't look as good and couldn't pick out much apart from the floor, I have a Marine blue one of my tanks and works great, all fish are happy to come out in it.

The thing about a moon light is its meant to replicate the light reflected from the moon.

the fish are used to the frequency of the light and arnt effected by it.
If its too bright - fish wont sleep - of come out if they are nocternal.
If its the wrong colour its a similar story.

the other option would however be red as fish are nearly blind to the red light aparently.
