Monapi Wood

Hi all

Im on day 9 of my fishless cycle, all doing well my tank is processing approx 4ppm ammonia every 24 hours and nitrite is spiking at well over 5ppm. now the tank will be shrimp only so i want to get my 2 large bits of monapi wood in asasp. When is the best time? now so some bacteria can grow on the wood or wait untill the full cycle is complete.
Oh the monapi has been soaking in a 20l bucket for approx 2 weeks so the tannis is almost gone.

Doesn't matter, you can put it in now or after, whichever you prefer.

The only reason to put it in now is so that some bacteria can grow on the wood rather then after the cycle, i assume no effect to the fishless cycle apart from lowering my ph?
