Way to go!! That fish now has a great home and someone who will look after him properly. Not to mention the possibility of a half price tank...bet it would be harder than hell to stay out of the fish section if yu were to get that tank

IMHO, you are not missing anything. Congrats on your new fish! I am glad he has a wonderful new home, with someone who obvioulsy cares & knows what they doing. Kudos to you for being you!

I like that fish....it is a sweet fish....I couldn't see anything wrong with it.

I see platies at my LFS in a bad way, torn fins and the like and have entertained the idea of buying one just to rescue it....I just worry that they may bring disease into my tank (I do have a quarantine tank but it has platy fry in it at the moment)....

Well done to you though!! I am sure it will have a great home!! Let us know how it goes
