hi all

i just start to restock my tank up as about 7 week ago i lost most of my fish. did the usually water change treat the tank for rot tail. then another couple of water changes. all my 5 catfishs, plec, about 5 fry, 5 neon tetras, 4 adult guppys and 1 platty have live throught the bad time i had.

havent lost any fish for about 4 weeks know so decided to stock up got 2 small molly a male and a female that is about to drop lol.

but the last couple of hour since putting the fish in the tank i notice that the male is chasing the female platy around. will he mate with her.

has my communcatity tank is going to be over with young with the female molly and i got 2 female guppys ready to drop aswell :S

Are you going to save them and put them in a breeding trap? As if you are, yes you will be overcrowded with fish. If you just let the fry stay in the tank with the adults only a few fry will survive and they will be the strongest ones.

lmao they are staying in the tank but my communcatity is so settle that they leave the young to swim around
