I'm quite new to keeping fish. I have just brought 1 black Molly (i think its male) 1 dalmation molly (i think female) and a leopard and silver molly , i think both males. Since i got these 3 days ago the black molly has constantly chased the dalmation molly round the tank. Does anybody know why this is?
Thanks
Erialc

yeah, mollies are randy little buggers basically!!

they need to be kept at a ratio of 1m:2f minimum or the poor female will get so stressed from the males trying to mate with them that they can easily pick up diseases and die.

you need to sort your male/female ratio out asap

miss wiggles correct, also think do you really want to breed them as they give birth to alot of fry, and they are baby making machines.
if not then just keep either males (suggest at least 5, spreads the aggression out) or just females (not so aggressive to each other)
:)

Lol, thanks for that, best i get a couple more females then!!!!
