Mollys - Will They All Breed Or Are They Picky?

after 6 months i finally got round to buying a male molly for the girls, but he is a white one, the girls are both black marbled (one a lyre tail) now the guy seems petrified of the ladies and te,ds to 'shaol' with the platys instead. will white mollys breed with black/marbled ones or only with white ones? its really confusing me, he won't go near them, and if they approach him he swims and hides!

hr may be scared because they have marked their teritory, if you move a few things around it would disturb what they are guarding and so he can have a chance of begining the main molly in the tank.!

I'm thinking the same. you have introduced him to an established tank and the females will be established, he needs to come out of his shell and show them who's boss, chage things a round and to a large water change see if this helps.
