Mollys - How Old Are My Babies

What size are Marble mollies when they are born. I've got 8 at about 1cm (half an inch) in size that I've been aware of for the last 3 weeks or so. Would there have been more to begin with that were eaten?

yeah they should be more, yeah thats the rite size, you could see if any babies are in the gravil, hidden spots, if u got a external filter like mines they cud b up there ( happend to me ), try take sum fish tank water in a cup and put it back into the tank the flow should bring up the babies

8 fry is a good number, but mollies can have up to 50 fry from a large female.
All fish will eat fry and they will do given a chance.

As for the size it dose depend but 5-8mm would be a good size at birth.

Would an adult about 7cm be able to eat a baby of 1 cm, they don't seem to be that interested in them?

yeah most prob, they will think its food, wait for them to get big enough.
