When my mollie had her babies about one month ago, she has not been eating. I have 4 other mollie in the tank and they seem fine. I tried to put her in a breeding net with food and she is reluctant to take it. My water parimeters are fine 000. I also noticed that my betta is acting strange. Right now they are laying on the bottom of the tank (hospital tank). They won't eat or swim around which is unlike them both.

I've had the mollie for about a month (I purchased her pregnant) and my betta for about 3-4 months. My betta for the last 2 days has been hiding and slightly loosing color. When they both try to swim(the betta more) they twirl in circles in the tank. Occasionally they will be upsidedown and just lay where they land.

If anyone has any suggestions of what it could be and how to treat it, I would be greatful. I do think that my betta has dropsy (His belly is bloated, but the scales are not pinecone like) and he's hiding.

Well, my mollie died a few minutes ago. I'll miss her :( :rip: :byebye:

Now I hope my betta makes it

Sorry about your mollie, she may have been a first-time mother and had a hard time with the frybirth.

I hope your betta makes it, as while. Good luck with that, hopefully it's not dropsy.

I'm hoping not, but it kinda seems like it. He's laying at the bottom not doing anything. poor thing, won't even eat though he's usually a pig!
