hi my black molly gave birth to about 30 fry on sunday the 15th. She is back in the main tank but she appears to have white above her eyes and one dead centre of her forhead any ideas wot this could be thanks.

is it little white dots, or like smudged furry white?

Any pics?

First thing i would do is a 30% water change, and turn the temp up a couple of degrees.

hi yes it is like that i dont think its white spot and she seems ok too. I,ve done a water change and the temp so will just have to c how she does sorry no pics bud.

Its a strange one because after my black mollys use to give birth, they sometimes got these white fluffy bits on them, sometimes all over, but within 2 days it went, just off a water change, i dont know if its a disease problem or just a simle stress problem but it never killed them or affected any other fish in the taank.

Although, dont just ignore whats happened to yours, taking precautions is always the best way, as it may be a disease.
