Size of tank in gallons or litres.
How many fish and which type.
Water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.

Do the gills look swollen and inflamed.
The white on the gill does it look fluffy or strand of cotton.
Any excess mucas on the gills or body of the fish.
Any signs of flicking and rubbing.
Hows the fish breathing.
What texture is the brown on the gills, does it look fluffy.
Turn tank lights out and shine a torch on the fish for yellow golden spots, a rusty varnish, or gold dusting on the fish.

12 uk gallons
3 guppies
3mollies
3platys
2corys

i know im over stoked but there all under a 1 and a half and im gettin a bigger tank soon

the gill dosnt look swollen
the white stuff looks fluffy but not like funguse more like fluffy skin
no excess mucas on the gills or body of the fish
its not flicking or rubbing
the fish is breathing fine
the brown stuff dosnt look fluffy
i cant shine a light on it now because im not at my house

The tanks stocking fine. If you have good water quality I wouldn't worry to much.
Has she caught her gill on anything in the tank. Any sharp objects in the tank.
Are both the gills the same or is it just one gill thats affected.

Can you issolate.
I would use anti internal bacteria med by interpet.

Do you mean the plants are sharp in the tank. Even though I like them I would maybe think of taking them out.

its not really that sharp but if it went into the points fast enough and at the right angle it could maby cut it but im not sure
i could swap it with the honey gouramis who are in a 5g tank do you think that will be ok

Match ph and temp when moving fish.
Why the gourami in the 5 gal is he poorly aswell.

no its a honey gourami but im moving it to a 30l tank when i can get read of the shbubkin

Fancy goldfish need 15 gallons tanks for the first one and double filteration.
I would try a bacterial med.

i know i was sold it last year and told it would grow to the size of the tank which i now know is rubbish and its going in my grandads freinds pond
and ill try and get some bacterial med tomorrow

I think you can add shububkins to ponds but it depends on which fish are in there.
I would check in the coldwater section of the forum.

i have any they said is fine
and i know this is the wrong section but now ones posting on tropical fish discusion
what would be the max size tank i could heat with a 75w heater and would it make any diffrence if i use aa 50w and a25w heater i alredy have to if i used 1 75w heater

75w 165 (6.5) 51-75 litres I think thats a 15 gal tank.
