So I just joined because I have a problem with my molly. She is a lyre tail molly. Around 2 or 3 months ago I noticed she was starting to swell up. After around a month or so she popped out one baby. She didn't produce anymore and continued to swell. Later I put her in a clean bin of water for 2 days to see if she would pass more babies. Now she is starting to just lay at the bottom of the tank on her side, but she is still responsive if I touch her with the net. I flipped her over and could see the head of a baby, but it seems to be trapped by some sort of clear membrane. I have put her back in her tub. She lived in a 15 gallon tank with other community fish, as well as 2 other lyre tail mollies, which are males. I have noticed they seem to harass her a lot. I try to do water changes every 2 weeks or so. Please can someone help me, I don't want to lose my big molly. Edit: This has been up for a couple weeks now, could someone please try to help me? My molly is now completely unable to swim and just lays at the bottom and has no reaction besides moving her fins when touched. No she is not dead. Yet. Edit 2: She died. It really would've been nice if SOMEONE tried to help.
