My molly has ich. I put her in a quarantine tank. What I am worried about is my main tank. Should I treat my main tank along with my Q. tank. None of the others are showing signs of ICH. Also I noticed the molly to have pop eye. Is this common with ICH? She has had it for 3 days and doesnt seem to have any problem with her gills and still is active and eating. Coming up to when she thinks its food. In my main tank i have 2 live plants, is there any medicine I can get that wont hurt the plants? Thanks in advance.

It's not normal practice to remove a fish with Ich from it's tank and put into a separate tank - the whole main tank needs to be treated for Ich, unfortunately, even if other fish are not showing the spots or flicking yet.

Treat with something like Protozin for the Ich - and that is fine to use with live plants. I've used it several times and had no problems. If you can't find Protozin, just ask at your LFS for something similar to treat Ich.

Some people prefer not to use medications and use another method of raising the temp and adding salts but as I've no experience of that I can't advise on the correct way to do it.

For the pop eye you can use Myxazin but I don't think you can mix both medications together so you would need to treat for one or the other first then do a water change, wait 48 hrs and then you can treat for the other.
