I have a female molly that have had for about a week now. She had been attacking(pecking pushing) around my other mollies. It gets especially bad during feeding time. My question is if there is anything that i can do to stop it or if i need to relocate her?!? My other mollies dont bully her or the other fish. Any ideas would help me out. One other question i have is i had put a sponge filter in the tank and my mollies and oto were constantly swimming in the bubbles was wondering if that meant they like it or didnt. lol it was funny to watch the oto swim to the bottom of the bubbles then float to the top and do it again. Thanks for your time

Give it a bit more time. Sometimes, once they settle in and establish a pecking order, things calm down. If they don't, I would just get rid of it. With a small tank there isn't a lot of places for the fish to escape to when an aggressive fish is on the warpath.

As far as the bubbles, it's not unusual for some fish to do that. My shrimp and cories like the air stone.

I had an aggressive female molly at one point, very similar situation, she'd bully the other mollies, but left the other species alone.

I found that introducing a male (I only had females at that point) sorted her out, as she was too busy avoiding his, er, shall we say, advances, to worry about the other females.

She should calm down.
This was the same with my female guppy. She wouldnt leave my platy alone... now they get along well.

I ended up taking her back to the lfs yesterday. She was stressing the other 2 mollies 1 male 1 female out to much and the other fish were there first. ANYWHO i did get a different one and she is doing great with the other 2 so im very happy about that and she does seem to of adjust wonderfully. Eats great and everything like that. THanks for the advice i just felt so bad for my other ones. THis is a awesome forum.
