molly tempermant diffrent with color?

as all of you know I had a mean molly that killed everything. And I dont know if yall know this but I did have a black one. It was very nice and didnt bother a thing. I also herd from people about theyre mollies being mean except the black ones. Do they have diffrent temperments depending on their color? Also are baloon mollies nice?

I don't think it is the colour that matters, it's just the fish. I heard some tales of black mollies being real mean. I'm not too sure if ballon mollies are nice pr not but I have heard from some fishkeeper that they have a nice temperment, so I guess they would be nice. I hint for finding gentle fish look for the ones in your LFS that don't chase around the other fish but also don't look like they are ill.

It depends on the fish's personality, not their color. I have a female black molly and she has the most sweestest personality. I haven't had any probelms with agressive mollies before. Balloon mollies are great little fish and have such wonderful temperments. I have balloon mollies, marble mollies, dalmation mollies and a black molly and they all get along great with each other!

all fish have their own lil personalitys, u jus gotta search for the best.

I second guppylover's comment. Check the fish while they're in the store, you can see who is chasing who, who is hiding, more shy. Usually there's some sort of pecking order going on with the bossier breeds of fish. Hope you find some sweethearts!

i used to have one really aggresive black balloon molly and she chased everything else around until she gave birth.shes still a lil nippy but wayyyyyyyy more nicer than she used to be.it all depends on the fish.most mollies especially balloons can be real sweet others can be bitter
