Hi
I have two molly females in a 10 gal tank divided with a HOB filter
for each side each has a cave and plants. I do lose track of time
working from home. I read a message I wrote the 8/16, so as far as I
can remember they were obviously pregnant around the 20th of august
when I moved them to the maternity tank. I notice one a week or so
later then the other. That makes 40 plus days pregnant. They seen
fine; healthy and active their poo is black and firm eyes clear and
bright. I have every reason to believe they are pregnant and none to
think they are sick. It
I change the water 20% to 30 % every 1 to 3 days using aged water.
The temp is 80 to 83 (hard to read more accurate). I feed them 3 x's
a day using and combination of frozen blood worm and shrimp, dried
tube flex, algae chips, and hbh flake frenzy tropical flakes. I did
not change water yesterday readings at 7 am today 9- 29. AP test
kits
Ammonia 0
Ph 7.6 – 7.8
Nitrite 0 - .05
Nitrate 0 – 5
I have read it can take 40 to 70 days anyone else find it takes that
long? Should I just keep waiting? I have heard salt may help do I
replace it every water change? I have read they can hold off if the
conditions aren't right, how long and what else would they need?
Thanks D
