My mollies are going baby crazy. I have two females and one male. One gave birth to 7 end of April, then 9 mid May, and now first of June I have about 20+ new babies! :hyper:  What the heck do I do with all these babies??!! So far I haven't lost a single fry so that leaves me with way more than I can contain in my 10 gal. We are thinking of getting a second tank to seperate the male from the females but a fishy friend of mine said of the two remaining females one will change sex and they'll reproduce! I'm so frustrated! I got into this fish thing because I thought it'd be fun but this is stressing me out!! :shout:
Are there places that'll buy fry from you?

lol my mates mum has hot a mollie outbreak first batch 15 2nd 30 3rd 55 and now shes gonna pop any hour now

Your LFS will probably buy the babies back. I have 2 10 gallon tanks, one for the babies, and one for the adults. When the females pop, i put the babies in the second tank and wait for them to grow to about an inch long. I was going to make my first sell to the pet store but they said to call back later when they needed more (their tank only had 5 or so guppies left in it) then I visited again later and their tank was full again. I don't think they want my guppies so I'm gonna sell them to friends and stuff I think.

Most chains wont' take fish, but most private pet stores will. Many will give you credit for them, some just will take them. Or, you could always sell them on craigslist or advertise in the paper as "Molly babies: free to a good home" I would love to take a few, but I live in NJ!

the females will not change sex if no male is present, they may visibley but they will not be able to produce fry :good:
