molly just gave birth

well I wasnt planning on her giving birth today but she did and I had to free up my betta breeding 10 gallon and put the fry in there. they are so cute! there is a sponge filter and heater in there, and a plant clipping..but i wanna know what do i feed them?

try curshed up flake food,micro worms,crushed freeze dried bloodworms,daphnia,baby brine shrimp,as they get older you can feed them freeze dried tubifex worms.those will all be eaten by molly fry

oh one more thing..how many times a day should i feed them? im thinking atleast 3

BTW - you can use a coffee grinder or mortar and pestle to crush flakes. Works great for me. Then I feed my fry as much as they will eat in 5 minutes, 3x or more a day. They can eat 5 times if you let them. This is how I got mine really big, fast. I sell them to the LFS.

thanks sassygirl..i was thinking about asking the lfs if i could sell them to them for a cheaper price than they get them, right now ive counted around 17 fry..im sure there are more in the other tank hiding in the rocks. The only way i noticed that the mom gave birth is one of my male mollies was chasing a fry trying to eat it!

oh btw..about how much to sell them back to your lfs for? just curious so i know what to expect in terms of price.
