I have a black male molly whos been doing pretty fine lately, and I recently glanced at him and he has a small beige-white thing on one of his bottom fins. I dont know whether its poop or a parasite or an infection, etc. Need help please!

EDIT: Nevermind it was poop :shifty:

was the feces lightly colored? Almost a creamish color.

That's not good, unfortuantly....

Your Molly probably has Internal Parasites. I'd try treating for them, and if she doesn't get better in a little while, as a very last resort, I'd euthenise her. I know it sounds very cruel, but if she dies with them still in her, they will multiple, and find a new couple fish to infect. You don't want your whole tank becoming infected with them. Could you possibly quarantine her? And you might want to try posting in the Emergency section, because I've never had internal parasites in my tank, so I wouldn't know the best med for them.

I dont have a separate tank to treat it in or the supplies? What should I do?

Treat the whole tank. That will be best, just in case it HAS spread to other fish. I would ask in the Emergency section for advice on the best med, though. :)

Good luck beating the parasites, and hope your Molly feels better soon.
