I transfered my molly fry (around 15) in to my 5gallon a couple of days ago and noticed yesterday the tank was decidedly dirty. so i've done a water change this morning and vacuumed the gravel and yet it's still dirty.

so if i clean it again later today will it do any harm?

is there any way of stopping this happening again?

Nope, another water change today won't hurt them. Daily water changes usually do fry good. Just remember to make it about the same temperature, and remember to add dechlorinator! Those are probably the top 2 things that can shock, stress, or kill fry doing water changes. Other then that, they should be fine.

And is there any way to stop what from happening? The tank getting dirty? You can try feeding less, more often...but fry are not the cleanest little guys.
