hi, my fry are about 3 weeks old.

Does anybody know why some of them insist on burying themselves in the gravel for a while only to come out later and carry on swimming. All fry are really healthy and all so far have survived.

I keep feeling the need to resuce them, but then they just wiggle out again???????????????

Do they have anywhere to hide, like plants or rocks, driftwood, etc? I tihnk they have an instinct to hide so they're not eaten.

It is planted, perhaps not enough, maybe i'll add a few more in.

You could be right as they are huddling together.

Thanks

Hey,

My old guppy fry used to do that sometimes, I think it's just a secure spot for such small creatures to be - especially if they are startled by anything.

Try adding some more places of refuge and they might prefer that.

Paul.
