Currently my fry are residing in the birthing box in their tank. I know this is not the best environment for them, but I have no other place to keep them, other than in my hospital tank. My hopsital tank is only 2 gallons, and I have no money, and I mean NO money, to get a larger tank for them. Nor do I have the funds to buy a filter to keep the water flowing. Should I move them into a still-water, large home or leave them in the smaller, but water flowing system. Any reccomendations?

When my platy had babies about 2 months ago I put them in a breeders net that was in the same tank that they were born in and they grew up nicely.

I was thinking that I would keep them in that breeder container in the main tank until they got larger then release them, but I have been reading some different things on molly fry and some reccomend their own tank, others say to keep them in the breeder container/net. I am just trying to see if one is better than the other or if both work and it doesn't matter. :)

I had kept one molly fry in a breeders net grew up the same way. But probably your best bet would be to get another tank it would probably give you bretter results. I think its up to you though, I mean if a breeders net worked for me to keep the fry in I am pretty sure it would work for anyone

You can keep them in a breeding net in the original tank. However, Molly fry tend to be bigger then Platy or Guppy fry, so it's less room for them, and they tend to overcrowd it quickly. Depending on how many fry you have, could you seperate them into 2 Breeding nets? That would give them more room...

The best bet, though, is a seperate tank, of at least 10 gallons for Molly fry. As you can see, though, it isn't always possible for people...

So what I would do, is grow them up a bit in a breeder net, and as soon as they are big enough, let them go. It also helps them grow if you feed at least 3 times a day, and you supplement in high protein foods, like Daphnia, Bloodworms, Brine Shrimp...etc. Live, Frozen, or Freeze-dried. :)

All right. Thanks for the info. I did a count last night and I am down to 41 fry out of an origional 51 (plus about 4 from the other female). NOt too bad, and I hope I can keep the rest alive! :D
