Molly Diseases?

I came home today and noticed one of my Sailfin Molly fish has white stuff on either side of him, it seems to be growing or coming out from his inside. This one is a male and fights occasionally with the other male i have in the tank, i've noticed he isn't really the dominant one so it could be from a fight.. But i'm not sure. It's on exactly the same spot on either side. Nothing seems to be wrong with the other mollies.
Has anyone seen this before?

one of my young mollies about 1 month old had that white stuff i though that was its natural look but it grew a bit and spread to another young mollie abouth the same age but i thought i should not treat it and i was right it just decreases in size until it compopletely goes away. I put in a general tonic just incase it spreads into other fish.
