I lost 6 molly in 4 days. I checked the water it is good. All reading stats are stable. Tank size 29 gal tank. A molly was injured i guess nd has some blood near its fin and mouth. What is going on. I am thinking of doing a 90% water change and start all over again? What can make these huge amount to die.

We're talking mollies here, so what stats exactly? (other than 'good' :) ).

Like what's your nitrates sitting at and what pH?

What other fish do you have in with the mollies?
Also do you have any rocks or other sharp objects in the tank?

You're missing a lot of specific information.

Was this an established tank?
Ammonia level?
Nitrite level?
Nitrate level?
Temperature?
pH? This one isn't as important as long as the pH was stable the whole time. Fish can adjust to quote a variety of ranges.

Having one fish die can cause a spike in bioload, causing other fish to die as well.

Yeah, ditto the above.

And although possible I do kinda doubt your nitrate level is 0, if it is - then what are you doing to achieve this?
It's more likely you meant nitrIte, or your nitrate test kit has expired (they do that).

And in this case, since it's mollies, the pH is pretty important :).

Well yeah nitrate. I have gouramis with them. And no sharp thing in the rock. Temperature 29 degrees celcius ammonia 7. 29 gal tank.

Still don't have all the details, but two problems:

1) Since you have Ammonia present and no Nitrates, this is a clear indication your tank isn't cycled. For info on cycling a tank go here.
2)The temperature is a tad to high for comfort, personally I would reduce it to 25-26 celcius. But this is not nearly as important as cycling your tank :).

Yeah its cycled i have my tank from 1 dec 2006. OK i will reduce temperature.

I beg to differ, if you have Ammonia and no Nitrate, your tank IS NOT cycled :).

It may have been cycled at one point, but it isn't anymore.

The ammonia is what will be killing the mollies, the temperature isn't helping - but is by no means the cause of these deaths.
