i have a male and female molly in a 10gal and i'm trying to get them to mate. they are both healthy,young and have lots of hiding spots and space to swim and they are well feed. Do you have any tips to help me get them to mate or any advice on fish i should add to the tank.I also have 2 1inch ale guppys but i have never seen the 2 groups interact execpt during feeding times.

If you don't have fry within a month and a half, I'd be very, very surprised. In my experience mollies and guppies aren't particuarly voracious predators of fry, so provided there are hiding places, enough of the fry should survive long enough for you to notice them.

You might not see them mating, and you'll probably not see the female actually give birth, but I'm sure it'll be going on behind your back!
