My orange molly recently mated with my dalmatian, will the colors of the babies be random? This is my first time, i’m not to sure.

There will be differently coloured. It also depends on the parents of the parents and what colour they were. You could expect some black, white and maybe orange ones. Are you planning to save the babies or just let them be and survive on their own. I suggest you get some plants (preferably real) and a lot of hiding spaces if you want more babies to survive. Expect that some will get eaten by the parents (you can't prevent that unless you separate the female before she gives birth and make and take her out as soon as she did so). Good luck!

yes, even if they have the same patterns, some can have jumbled and different colors

depends on the genotypes, if your fish are mutts then maybe theres a small chance for really cool mutt coloration (different from the parent colors)
