I have 2 male mollies: an orange and a dalmatian and 2 females: a silver and a black. Will my males mate with my females or do they only mate with others exactly like them?

That's an interesting question actually... do fish see colour?

They do, to varying degrees. Not much point in having a colourful mating display like most do if your mate can't see it, right?
