Hey! Im new here and sorta new to fish keeping. Ive kept convict cichlids before and bred them but I gave up on them maybe a year ago because the males killed their partners under the stress of us moving house >.<

Ive got a quick question on the bahvior of my mollies, its not urgent. I have a 20g tank with 2 little goldfish and 2 mollies in it, which theyve been recently moved into and seem alot happier in a bigger tank. The female molly seemes to eat one of my goldfish, she does chace it but at times the goldfish sit still and lets her. The goldfish had a fungal disease last week and is now treated (LFS sold me diseased fish, nealry all their fish died o.o) . Could she be eating the old slime? She has striped one of his fins off thats growing back now, the anal fin. Also, she only picks from this goldfish, Ive watched her eat waste straight from the other goldfish but not spit it out?
Whats she doing?

Firstly gold fish and mollies do not mix well, goldfish are just to greedy ad eat everything before most other fish get a look in and they also produce a lot of wast.

The molly will indeed be eating the slime off the other fish. eating wast is normal their just looking to extra food
