i'm not sure if anybody can answer this (it's a weird question...)
i have 4 mollies... 2 dalmation lyre tail (1 male 1 female) and two silver mollies (1 male 1 female)
both of the females are pregnant...
i looked in my tank about 20 minutes ago and saw a couple of babies so i quickly moved them to another tank that i keep for new born fry. i'm not sure which female gave birth but i moved one female (to the "birthing tank") that looked like she was much farther along than the other (the one i moved looked like she was about to burst, so it was my guess that she was giving birth...)
now to my question: is there any way to tell if a female molly has recently given birth? this is just so i know which female gave birth and i can move fish around accordingly...
thanks

yes theres a way. frist of all congrats. well if a female has just gave brith then her anal vent will have a little poited end coming out. and she will not move/ or very little.
