I brought home two black mollies yesterday from the lfs and much to my delight when I arrived home there were 14 fry in the bag as well. Poor momma though, she looked rather tired and extremely thin.

Today she is acting mostly normal -- eating, swimming, etc. However, she's been doing this weird thing: She will do a tail stand and shake her tail fin and almost fall over backwards and then resume normal swimming.

Water readings are good:

Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 5.0

There are three other fish in the tank: another female molly, one male molly and a pleco. Why is she doing this?

Never heard of them doing that, just keep an eye on her that she can maintain her balance in the water.

at a good guess, she very very stressed out. I've had molly's from a certain shop, (witch I don't buy from anymore) the molly's where always like this.

I think you're right about the stress. She had a lot happen in under an hour: store tank to a small fish bag, to having 14 babies in a bag and then into a new aquarium!

It's funny because she wasn't the one I picked out but the clerk already had her bagged and I didn't have the heart to put her back. Imagine being that close to freedom and then getting sent back!!

She seems to be more normal today. She's already eating dried bloodworms from my finger like my other female.
