mollies?

i have read on various sites that sailfin mollies can grow up to 6 inches, is this true? i have nver seen one bigger than 3''

as we are talking about sailfin mollies i picked up one really pretty one at the weekend, looks identical to this one

No, 4 inches would be a big sailfin 5in. is something you may see after breeding and keeping hundreds of sailfins
by the way beautiful sailfin ....is it for breeding ??? what colors are the parents going to be ??

beautiful molly, i think there are lovely fish, have just had 8 molly babies 2 weeks ago, and now waiting for my other female to have hers (hopefully next couple of days) fingers crossed

well i did want a pair, but by the time i got to the shop only 3 males were left, so i got one, at the same time i got a pair of very healthy looking pure black sailfins, so along with my dalmatian sailfins, the fry could be any colour type from those, a black and gold speckled molly would be nice, i also like the white/gold ones, i'll just have to wait and see what mother nature brings me

chocogirl0- good luck with your soon-to-come molly fry as well as the two week olds! I have molly fry now, too.

maybe my black molly is a sailfin and I was oblivious? B)

EDIT: Toulouse is definitely a sailfin. awesome.
