:D My molly had about 15 fry last night. Im new to the fry business, how do I take care of them? Also I have two mollies that I put into a seperate tank because they look like the might have flex. One of them is also the one that had the fry. There is white patches on the bodies of the fish including the fins and around the lips. Would a salt bath take care of that? I havnt had to treat for flex before ???? . Can someone give me some advice on what to do??

You have columnaris and will need maracyn one and two, or tetracycline, should be fine seen as they are in isolation, increase aeration.
I would perform some water changes on the main tank.

I was told that I should feed the fry 4-5 times a day and clean the tank 3-4 times a week. Should I feed them that much? Is crushed up tropical fish flakes okay to feed them??

feed them 3 times a day and yes very very very small crushed flake it ok. with cleaning the tank if you have a filtered fry tank then just do water changes and do it as a normal tank a water change a week but get a turkey baster so you can get the non eaten food out.

4-6 times per day is preferable, if you can manage it. Fry have small stomachs, so food goes through them quickly, and they need lots of food to grow! Flakes are okay, however it'd be best to suppliment in some kind of high-protein food (frozen/live/freeze-dried) to balance out the diet and help them grow faster. Veggies are also good. Just make sure they are small pieces, or use a veggie clip(best choice) and it's a good idea to steam/blanch them first to soften them up a bit. Peas also have to be shelled.

As you can see, my fry love veggies. :D

Also, take a look at the pinned topics and topics in the FAQ. They should help answer some of your questions too. Good luck, and have fun raising them! I'm sure you'll be a great parent!

It really doesnt look like they are eating. They sit on the bottom of the tank. I know that they are alive though. I added a small cave to the tank so that they would feel safer. I have been feeding them 4 times a day, these guys are so small! How long before I can add them back to my main tank? How long are they considered fry? Your fry are very pretty by the way! I will try the veggie diet, also some baby brine shrimp. Do the brine shrimp need to me crushed up?? :fish:
