Mollies In A 5 Gallon

You shouldn't have any mollies in a 5g, they need at least 15g. You might be able to fit a betta in instead.

Well it depends if your going to mix the sexes then your going to have lots of baby mollies! If not just keep a few.

How many would you reccomend putting in a 15g?

4 if you're happy to do water changes VERY frequently. Althogh 3 would be more comfortable, 2 females, 1 male. With mollies you have to remember they breed very easily, so what starts out with 3 fish could easily multiply very quickly.

Don't you fancy maybe a 30 gal?

I think I may... in the begining I only wanted a small tank.
But I've fallen for mollies, so i suppose i should find room for a bigger tank.

Also, the other day i spotted pink kissing gourami's
I don't suppose I could keep a couple of them in a 5g?

Afraid not. Gourami's also need around 30 gallons. You could keep a single male betta in a 5 gal, gorgeous fish.

you can't keep any mollies in the 5 gal, a male betta would be perfect in there. what type of molly do you have?
