Hello. This is a pretty new tank, cycled for 8 weeks then I had 5 danios. Two weeks later I introduced two sharks and three dalmation mollies.

Keeping a close eye on the water, and doing a 10% water change daily if the nitrate spikes but it's stayed at 3ppm or lower, I tested again today and it's down to 1ppm.

I added the Mollies and Sharks on friday.

Sharks are swimming about, eating well, looking lovely and active etc. Danios are active as well swimming about like loonies.

It's just the mollies, I have two female and one male, when I first put them in two of them were chasing each other around the tank and after about 15 or so minutes they came all together at the bottom of my tank and they've stayed there since.

All three of them togethter in a group, will swim at the bottom of my tank hiding behing the rocks and all the plants. Every now and again, about once an hour they will venture out together, one will come out on its own first. I have noticed they've started venturing out a little bit more but not what I would've expected from mollies, they seem either stressed, scared or maybe having an orgy I don't know :)

Temperature is 77f, pH is 7, I put in bloodworms, fruitflies for them to eat. I also have an underwater pump so there's a bit of a current up top which the danios love swimming against but they are not quite strong enough so end up on the other side of the tank, it's quite amusing to watch.

Is there something wrong with them or shall I leave them for a little while until they come out? I've kept my overlight off so it's dark in the tank.

Few pictures of them :) The blackest one is Pongo, the one with the least black spots is Zipper and the other one is Perdy

I think the mollies are just getting used to the tank and its inhabitants. Keep an eye on them. If they show any signs of illness, let us know. I hate to be the barer of bad news, but that green and white striped plant is not aquatic. You need to get it out of there before it rots and causes you alot of problems.
