hi, i have 2 questions.
question 1. my tank was fine. it had had a normal water change. water was fine when i got up this morning but about lunchtime i noticed the water was cloudy and say a few mollie fry about. the water started to clear a bit then seemed to get worse and a while later more babies. when they give birth does the go cloudy? if not what all of a sudden made it come and go like that.
question 2... i had 2 tanks one for fish one for plants. my fish in one tank got sick and as the tank light broke i moved it to the tank i used now. that made all the fish sick with finrot and something else. i seemed to get rid of it but in the end all but my plec died. he was sick so i moved him into my plant tank, he got better. i stripped the other tank down. got rid off all the bog wood, gravel etc, cleand filter etc. refilled it and let it run for about 4 weeks. water was fine and i put my plec back in and left it for a few weeks he done well, water was still fine so we got 6 mollies. within days they seemed to get finrot. i got more treatment and it seemed to be fine but lost the 2 males. so left it for a few weeks again to make sure it was ok. all seemed well so we got 2 more males. 48 hours later they started flipping about, got treatment and was fine, then they got finrot, cleared it, came back and now not sure where im at. how do i get rid of it for good. in 6 years of fish keeping i have never had sick fish. oh and never had cloudy water untill this after noon.
thanks for the help
