Hi guys,

Need quick advice.

My mate just came up thinking he was doing a favour and gave me a pair of mollies! I was impressed, they are a nice salt and pepper colour. Look well in the tank.

They look to be eating my glosso.....!!!! are they???

I didnt realise they eat plants but can`t find any info to confirm it!

Help

Chris

I have a molly that eats my plants, not all of them just the nice tender, juicy ones. I wouldn't have thought they will cause you any problems, if they are new once they are settled you'll porobably find they perfer the food you give them rather than the plants. But it may just be a case of wait and see!

ha ha what a pain. it's quite possible but i doubt they'll eat much. dont worry about it for now, if it continues move them before i send you the new batch of glosso!!!

Mate, if they are eating my glosso within the next few days and i notice, i`m getting shut of them....IF they are glosso eaters, they will be long gone before your batch arrives!

Why can`t they peck at my cabomba, it needs a trim!! lol

In all seriousness. The mollies are being moved in a few days anyway when i have my new tank setup more to do with the poo issue as we discussed in the other thread! To be honest i haven`t seen them touching the plants since last night :D
