This is not technically a new tank because I have had Zebra Danio's for about a year, but I have some new fish I have some questions about. My tank is freshwater currently

I got some fish a while ago to help deal with my algae problem but I'm not sure what they are. Any ideas? Photo here
I bought some Dragon Tailed Guppies about 2 months ago and there doing just fine with my Zebra Danio.
Now I have got some Balloon Bellied Mollies and there seems to be a lot of inconsistancy about whether Mollies need salt, Mollies and Guppies living together, and Guppies living in or changing to Salt. Also what is the best temperature, pH and hardness?
I know I'm being annoying with all my questions but thanks for any help.

The fish looks like an otocinclus to me, perhaps others can confirm/deny. Guppies like a slightly brackish enviroment, a high ph and temps of 72-76 so are compatible with mollies.

That alge eater is a Otocinuclus Affins, usualy just called an Otto but also known as the Golden Otocinuclus, the Dwarf Sucker Mouth, the Pygmy Suckermouth and the Midget Suckermouth Catfish.

Common opinion is that they must be kept in groups of 3+ but some people report keeping them alone without any problems. Although a lone Otto wouldnt be a lot of good at eradicating the algea.

Seeing as all eight of my mollies are living in a corner since I got them on Sunday would this be the lack of salt or just stress? The heater is also near that corner so pehaps 24 [sup]0[/sup]C /76[sup]0[/sup]F is too cold? My LFS told me they kept them at 26/78 degrees.

This is a bit of a suprize, but I now have a 17- 20 fry. I think they may be from the Guppies because the Mollies are new and the Zebra Danio is the only one of it's species. They are about 1cm long and totally white except one black one. Any tips or information?
