I'm starting a BW tank using some mollies to start the cycling process. Currently, I'm adding 2 tablespoons of aquarium salt per day untill I have 1 tablespoon per gallon (what my LFS keeps their BW tanks at). Is this adding salt too fast? Also, I'm thinking about putting the mollies in my FW tank. How can I acclimatize them to FW? or do I even need to?

well...if thats adding it to fast then im screwed...i put all the salt i needed for my tank all in at one go  i kept mollies in FW for many years and they seemed fine...most of the fish stores round me keep them in FW too.

I meant the ones that I've put in the soon to be brakish water tank. It's going to be a puffer tank which may want to kill the mollies.

puffers ate my mollys :( but then i got rid of em and got more mollys that had gazillions of babys
