Mollie ?

I've kept livebearers before, but this is the 1st time I've kept mollies. I"m so hooked, I just love these little fellas. How many can I keep in a 55L tank? (Sorry, we have metric system is Aus) I think that's about 12 gallons. I already have 8 adults (3 male, 5 female) + 5 fry.

For 12 gallons and the fish you have plus the fry I wouldn't get anymore. You're maxed out it sounds. Mollies can get pretty large. My sailfin female is over 3 inches long.

I believe that your tank is just about stocked. I've seen 1 1/2 inch long mollies and others over 3 inches.

Ok. Thanks heaps! Sounds like I'd better hurry and re-seal my leaky old 10g tank, at least 1 is pregnant already.
