mollie pregnant emergencie

my mollie is pregnant and she is ready to give birth but when i put my fish into a breeding net it allways clogs up with poo how should i keep the pregnant mollie in the net ( how do you clean it ? )

take a bit of airline tubing like the stuff that attaches to an air stone and use that to syphon out the breeder. I do this daily and it seems to do the trick. HTH

No. Just suck on the end until the water starts coming down the tube. Be quick getting it into the bucket though

tell me about it,being my mollies are in a slightly brackish water i almost swallowed
that water it was salty but luckily i didnt but i still tasted it had to wash my mouth out twice

mine protected hers but i heard some eat their young
best you can do right now is put alot of bushy plants for the babies to hide in

it's funny you say about tasting the syphoned water.
My friend has had a few marine aquaria and on the first of them he bought the lot tank,pump,filter heater etc... and the one thing the guy never told him is to get a hydrometer to test the salt quatity,the thing is this mate of mine(daz) is very impatient and would he wait NO.
So the way he did it is by tasting the water to see at what point it tasted like the sea!!!!!I kid you not!
So how do you think that poor fella felt!
LOL when i found out.

Needless to say i made him buy one before he put fish in it!

in a tropicla freshwater tank you should only just about taste salt in your tank cause my molly needs her salt

i use pipeing to suck stuf up all the time, waste, water, fry i get it all with my trustly pipe, i just use my mouth thogh, i musta swollowed a gallon of water suckin up lil frys.
