Hi all,
Im new to the site and also to keeping tropical fish.
I have 3 Mollies, 2 female and one male, when I bought them the aquarium shop worker believed one of them to be pregnant, she doesnt seem to have grown any bigger in the last 3 weeks so perhaps she isnt??
Anyway, the other female has started displaying some odd behaviour, well odd compared to normal, she is flaring her fins around the male and chasing him around the tank, she also seems to be 'bullying' the other female, ie chasing her around the tank and Im sure Ive seen her nibbling at her too. Is this mating behaviour, or could she be ready to give birth, as this female has actually gained weight around her mid-section?
Sorry for the essay, I just want to be prepared! Ive bought a Breeding Unit just in case!
Thanks in advance
