hi

I currently have a pregnant Sailfin Silver Molly and the father. But I was thinking about getting 2 or 3 more sailfin males (in different colors) when I get a bigger tank, and I will switch the current female to another tank and maybe keep her with 1 or 2 of her female babies "to be" since I don't want to have frys every couple of months nor do I want them to be food for the other inhabitants  .

Will that be OK?? or will it be a problem to keep 3 or 4 males of the same species without any females around? It's just that I prefer the males because they are a bit more cute than the females :*)

 Fry is one of those words that you don't put in plural from. so you say 1 fry or 18 fry. Just thought i'd let you know

Now on to the other stuff:

Shouldn't be a problem! Remember, fry need to be held by themselves for 2 months (or until they can't fit in the biggest fish's mouth, which is usually 2 months)

if you go ahead and get a bigger tank, you can use the tens for the baby fry! Great size for them as they can get LOTS of exercise, and it is more forgiving than a five. What i mean is if you forget a water change, it won't pose as much of a danger for the fry as the 5g would pose.

and the bigger the tank, the more it is forgiving. That's why everyone suggests huge tanks for begginers, rather than 10s or 20s.

Oops I'm rambling. I'm tired, so do forgive me!

yea that is wat i thought! just dont have a female and you should be find... a male spieces tank :p i just have ALL females in my 10G by my bed!
