Hi again

A month ago my mollie gave birth and I managed to save 8 fry. They are doing very well in my 6.5 gallon tank.
It now appears my guppy is pregnant.
Will it be ok to put the guppy in with my fry until she gives birth?

TIA

Congrats on the 8 fry! Molly's are hard to keep healthy and having 8 fry survive is quite an accomplishment. Your guppy should be fine with the fry. After she gives birth though, I would suggest getting a bigger tank...unless the 6.5 is just your breeding tank. :fun:

I have five Molly fry living inside the top of the internal filter. I have had them in there before. They come out when they are bigger. I suppose they feel safe in there! :)

LOL yeah, safe enough for now, but they grow pretty fast. Mine have doubled in size in 4 weeks.
I suppose there will come a time when they can't get in (or out) of the filter. :X

Anyway, best of luck with your babies :good:

When they get bigger I guide them out into the tank through the hole where the tube goes. I can only see them in there because I have one of those lights that you strap to your head! It looks pretty stupid but I have had fish in the filter before so I check for them when I do the water changes. :)
