Mollie Boy Or Girl?

I know this is gonna sound wierd but i would like to know how to sex a dalatian mollie. It keeps swimming aroud with my female guppy who is just reall fat, is there any chance there is an attractian or is my molli just lonely or confused??

If its a boy it will have a pointed anal fin

The dorsal fin on males is larger as well.

i'd say if he's chasing a female, he's a male. usually they dont' care what it is, even if it's not the same type of fish haha.

The anal fin Betta5 is talking about is probably the easiest way to sex a Molly. It's the most rear fun on the underside. In males, it will look almost tube-like as this is how the male deposits sperm. In females it will look more like the other fins, triangle in shape. Pictures are hard to take as these guys are always moving, but if you can get one, we would be happy to help you identify the sex.
