Mollie - Black or Dalmation?

I have recently lost one of my two Black Mollies. Intend to purchase a replacement. Should I get another Black one or is it ok to have a Dalmation one instead? I have no other Mollies in my community tank.

Dalmation! Love the pattern. Has anyone noticed that they lyretail seem to have a different disposition than the other mollies? I find them more peaceful. This could all jsut be chance or the stock at the local fish stores here....

I like the damaltion molly because when they breed they will be different colors instead of just solid black.

My dalmation gave birth to 7 surviving fry that are about 5-6 weeks old and she is pregnant again with an even bigger belly! I never noticed until yesterday that some of the fry have orange markings as well. So I am guessing the father was orange. She was pregnant when I bought her at the LPS. I would say maybe get a dalmation and a black.
