Mollie Babbies !

i have 5 mollie babies in ma tank i have transfered them to a breeding trap all seem to be fine i didnt even notice any of the pregnant i was wondering when ok to release them back in to the main tank i have 1 that is a few weeeks older than the others and is much bigger

when they're too big to fit into the mouth of the biggest fish in the tank

I would also suggest that you only put them into the larger tank area when they are able to eat flake food. If your using fry food it could cost you a small fortune to feed them in a larger area then in the breeding trap. My five little ones are doing great, getting big and gobbling all the brine shrimp that I give them so they seem to be handling the breeding trap well so far.
