Heya, I have a large tank for my beta, maybe 1-2 gall (larger than pet store #### xD), but as I just cleaned out the tank I place the fish in a small tube cleaned (that fits inside the other tank. It's like a pitcher with a tube attached to the top for ice for your drinks but I used it for a fish tank after mass cleaning with hot and cold water).

Well, after a long attempt of trying to get the fish out and into the tube for cleaning the jar, I found that theres little pieces of mold on the tips of its fins. don't know if its mold, doesnt look quite like food but might be. What is it, why, and how do i help it get it off? o_O its something like puffs of green seaweed, see-through and its a little weird. not much is there, only a little at the tips of the fins.

Thank you.

Welcome to the forum.

Firstly, I wouldn't consider 1-2g a 'large' tank for a betta, but it's an ok size and many a betta can live happily in a tank that size.
Secondly, it sounds like you are squeezing this poor fish into a tube, that does sound stressful, maybe you didn't explain it right but that's how it sounds to me.
Thirdly, a photograph of the 'mould' and this tube you spoke of would help us greatly in ascertaining the problems.

Many thanks.
