Mixing The Sexes

hi i got 5 mollies one which i found out was male the other week

but i was thinking of adding some wagtails and plumetail 3 of each

but was wondering which would be best all males or all females or mixed and to what ratio

they say 1 male to every 2 or 3 females
but then you will probably end up with lots of littleones

yeah but gives me an excuse to set up a small tank

but then if i didnt want the little ones would all males or all females be better
