Mixing My Fish

I am getting a new tropical fish tank soon i am thinking about getting a good few neon tetras a catfish and about 3 guppies the tank is big enough but do you think the fish will get along ?

the tank is 70 gallons and i am thinking of getting1 of the smaller cat fish i cant remember the name of the top of my head do you think my fish will get along ok then ?

should be good, i'd recommend a Bristlenose plec, there great little fish grow to about 6 inch max and will eat any algea you have you could also have a few cories in there, neons might nip the guppies abit

Watch the Neon's with the guppies, I have 8 neon's and 5 guppies and the neon's are absolute sod's of things, they nip everyone's tails except the Bristlenose catfish, cause s/he doesn't have a tail worthy of nipping!

Some people have no problems with neon's and don't find them nippy at all, but I've found with mine the older and bigger they get the worse tempered they become.

Zebra Danios also are fin nippers and can get naughty.
