Mites In My Friends Tank?

hi my friend has wat it looks like mites crawling all over the bottom of the tank...wat can i do to help him?
they are extremly small and are crawling al over the bottom..
any help would be great tanks

are they white worms? if so they are very common especially if your friend has been over feeding

Sounds like ostracods (google image for pic), harmless, but indicative of poor tank maintenance and/or overfeeding.
Correct the cause(s) and the ostracods should eventually go away...
