Mistiness And Algae

Hi, I have been having a problem with greenish, misty water for weeks now. I've been trying all sorts of stuff, like turning the lights off, using water clarifier, etc..

Is it normal? because the tank is somewhat new.

I did a 25% water change and I think that should help.

Hi. It's hard to know what's going on with your tank with so little information but i think you are doing the right thing by doing water changes. If it's a green algae problem then you can limit the light like you have done, limit the amount of food you feed, and keep doing the water changes! How often have you been doing them? I would do a series of small (10-20%) water changes on a daily or bi-daily basis until the water starts to clear up. Also, i wouldn't use any chemicals to try to get the water clear... this may complicate things. Good luck.
